A Note from John

I Need Your Help to Take the Next Steps in Making Your Muckleshoot Life Better…

Got some ideas? I’ve got time to listen.

The future of the Muckleshoot Tribe lives in the spirit, energy, and upbringing our kids have. Are they getting the best education? Are they getting mental health attention and behavioral treatment for all the grief and frustration the pandemic, as well as drug and alcohol abuse has caused? Do they know we live and care about them every day of our lives? Do they hear their ancestors’ callings? Their cultural roots and the laughter and love all Muckleshoots were born with?

Are we doing enough?

And our faithful, dedicated workers who keep our many programs operating strong and safely, have we kept up with the times to be the best employers? If there are workers who are trying to get their lives in better shape, and need more sick time, or treatment benefits, are we meeting those needs?

What changes should we be making?

We do much. Your Muckleshoot Tribal team truly looks out for every one of us – but the times require more compassion, more listening and more human decisions than all our ancestors and those of us who represent you can come up with and anticipate.

That’s why you matter now more than ever.

Please vote.

And, as important, help me and our Tribal Council create a better world for Muckleshoots wherever they may land.
